GCE was chosen to complete a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment on behalf of a confidential Long Island automobile dealership to determine if a property, in its entirety, is subject to recognized environmental conditions which is often an influential step in the decision-making process for real estate transactions and for general environmental due diligence purposes. As a follow up a Phase II Site Investigation was performed and based on the findings situ chemical oxidation a remediation technique used for soil and groundwater remediation to reduce the concentrations of Tetrachloroethene (PERC) contaminants on the property. All work has been performed according to applicable regulatory standards.
